With 435 House races up for grabs in November, I thought it impossible to rig yet another election. Sure, they could probably swing one here or there but the Red Tsunami is picking up water and heading toward low-lying areas. Hell, the tsunami might even be enough to solve the drought in the west. But… Don’t count your chickens before they’ve hatched.
Here we go again.
I believe the Democrats know they’re losing the House but they are going to minimize their carnage enough to be able to say that the normal pattern of midterms where the president’s party usually loses big in Congress is normal and, well, you know, we didn’t lose nearly as many as we thought so this wasn’t even a ground swelling event.
The Senate, on the other hand, would favor the Democrats if the 2020 machine is successful again. A tie in Congress is enough to keep the hits coming, and by hits I infer more of the same from this cabal in Washington—the hit in your pocketbook and the hit to our civil liberties.
Molly Hemmingway of The Federalist, and expert on The Steal 1.0, sounded the alarm today. With the inability of Congress to pass H.R. 1 in the opening months of this abomination of an administration, Joe Biden issued executive order 14019 instructing all 600 federal agencies to support voter registration, provide information to voters about the elections, and (ominously) to participate in electoral activities. Where the hell are the Republicans? They should have been screeching like eagles and continue the screeching up to election day in November. And they certainly should not be participating in any legislation to further erode our rights—Red Flag laws. The Great Steal is becoming the Great Abdication.
There are 34 senate races this November. Fifteen of those are considered solid Republican, leaving 19 as solid Democrat or toss-ups. Three are tilting Republican (Florida, North Carolina, and Wisconsin). The true toss-ups are Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. New Hampshire is also considered a battleground but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin were states that had substantial irregularities in 2020. I would add in North Carolina since it’s had shenanigans in the last couple of election cycles. I saw a poll the other day from Pennsylvania that had the creepy looking Democratic dude beating the Wizard of Oz by 11 points. They might not have to cheat that much. There are a few who believe Florida might be in play.
What makes this even more alarming is that there are some Democratic strategists that are predicting a Blue Tsunami. One such is Simon Rosenberg, president of progressive think-tank NDN. He’s written three recent blogs on their site of note: Memo: The Remarkable Success of the Democratic Party's Hispanic Strategy; Analysis: Red Wave? Hard To See One Now; New Future Majority Polling Memo on Hispanics, Abortion and the End of Roe.
After the pick-ups by Hispanic candidates in Texas and Virginia special elections, Republicans have been giddy. Polls showing only 24% Hispanic approval of Biden might be adding to this giddiness. But according to Simon Rosenberg, this is all but an illusion. Rosenberg’s resume should also be alarming:
President, NDN and the New Policy Institute, a think tank based in Washington, DC
Prominent American political strategist, thought-leader and commentator
An experienced television news producer and highly regarded political strategist and thought-leader, Simon has spent three decades in national media and politics. He is a veteran of two Presidential campaigns, including a senior role in the famous 1992 Clinton War Room. In his current capacity as President of NDN/New Policy Institute, Simon advises leading politicians, Administration officials and policy makers on a wide range of issues here in the United States and abroad. He is a frequent commentator in the national media, appearing regularly in major newspapers and websites, political journals and on cable and network television. A few years ago GQ magazine named him one of the 50 most powerful people in Washington. In this past election cycle, he was a senior advisor to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, helping craft the stategy [SIC] which netted the Democrats 40 seats and earned the highest vote share by either party since 1986.
Simon is a graduate of Tufts University and currently serves on the board of the Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts, where he recently taught a semester-long seminar to undergraduates on American politics. He is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, a member of the U.S. State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Information and Communications Policy and an advisory board member of the Open Source Elections Technology Institute. Outside of his work with NDN, Simon has advised private corporate and political clients, including Univision, Nanomix*, Discourse Intelligence*, and the DCCC.
*No info on Discourse Intelligence; Nanomix is an advanced healthcare company specializing in mobile diagnostic monitors (great to determine whether you have Covid or not)
This guy is everywhere. He’s to be taken seriously.
His current work is within Hispanic voting issues, particularly in outlining issues counter to the current narrative of migrating Hispanic votes toward Republicans. He believes that Hispanics favor abortion in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, all states that Trump carried in 2016 and lost in 2020—part of the Great Steal. I would beg to differ. Catholic Hispanics overwhelmingly are pro-life and the door has been opened to join Republicans in voting down Democrats. Maybe he knows something none of the rest of us know. Maybe he’s setting the table for continued “support” in states that have dysfunctional election systems—saying Hispanics stayed with the Democrats because they favor abortion rights. That would produce the miracle votes to defeat the Republicans leading in those states.
The last significant and troubling sign is George Soros’ sudden interest in Hispanic radio media. The investment group buying 18 stations all have deep ties to former Obama administrations and have been bankrolled by Soros to the tune of $60 million.
Here is a list of the cities where Soros now controls Hispanic airways: Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Houston, Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio, Las Vegas; McAllen, Texas, and Fresno, California.
As a Texan, I’m a bit concerned. In Houston, the electorate is roughly 33% Hispanic. Current Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, a Soros-backed candidate (in Texas, the county judge is actually an executive position over the county legislative function, not within the judiciary), was swept in under the Beto factor in 2018. She is currently at war with another Soros-backed moron, DA Kim Ogg. The Harris County GOP selected a very-well qualified Hispanic woman, Alexandra del Moral Mealer. With Hidalgo’s legal troubles and a shift within Hispanics, Mealer may have a chance. Of course, with a radio station blaring anti-Mealer messaging, taking back the long-held Republican position may be a pipe dream. But the fact that Soros bought the majority of stations were in Texas may be a sign of panic.
