The True Believers, Part 2:
(Part 1)
So, after spilling the blood of word counts, let’s get back to mjk’s original question:
Why do these billionaires want to impose a fascist state? What do they get from it? They have enough power. How much power and wealth can anyone utilize in a lifetime?
Mjk asked if it is a game. Yes. It’s Risk with a real, world-sized game board. Alexander the Great, Napoleon Bonaparte, Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler. All players, among many others, in a risky game of world domination. All used force to gain power and project it beyond their national borders. All defeated at the ultimate game. All psychopaths? I would venture to say yes but all had differing motivations. The common denominator with each was the use of military conquest. Each learned the hard way that military conquest only goes so far.
Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov “Lenin” was a true believer. When his beliefs were betrayed by reality, he turned to brutality. Joseph Stalin was a true believer at first. Was he when he died? I don’t know but his psychopathy allowed him to murder many millions more than Lenin in the name of true belief. However, beside the end of World War II (and except through proxies and a couple of incursions), neither tried to push their boundaries by force but through ideology. Ideology was their motivation. The functionality of their ideology proved false and ultimately led to their heritage being swept up in the dustbin of history, only to be dusted off and run back up the flagpole from time-to-time—and ultimately to meet the same fate as the Soviets.
But the ideology has remained to inspire true believers everywhere. And these true believers can be found today in every educational system, every bureaucracy, every government, and every institution throughout the world.
The 21st Century sees a new totalitarian movement but not through individual dictators but rather a fascistic cooperative. Billy Gates, Georgie Porgy Soros, Larry Fink and even Herr Schwab among many, many others are representative of “they”. These people control multinationals and NGOs that serve as the source of their power, backed by an invisible army of true believers that command industries, institutions, and social/cultural movements. Their motivations are many. Soros and Schwab both have been stained by Naziism. Is it ideology for them? Gates was born into the game. Fink came from a modest background and just seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. They represent Hoffer’s men of action.
Their intentions are parroted, promoted, and even disguised by corporate media shrills; these are the men of words.
Then there are mindless dolts that go with the flow who are in corporate management, are recruits from the ranks of narcissistic careerists, are professional outrage machinists (i.e., community organizers), and the individual misfits whose lives are adrift without manufactured hatred. These are the fanatics.
Each group, and even the individuals within the groups, have varying motivations for their actions. So, a simple answer as to why they do it? There are too many reasons to count. I suggest they all have antisocial personality disorders; they do what they do because it is their nature. Pity the fox that attempted to ferry the scorpion across the river.
Many do it for the sake of power. It is an aphrodisiac, an opioid beyond imagination. Of course, you have to have the psychopathy to push it to the outer boundaries. Jeffrey Epstein certainly comes to mind. But he too was a tool and there are probably dozens more just like him.
And that goes for the World Economic Forum, the “Bilderbergers”, and any of the other supercilious groups (real or make believe) whose “calling” is to make life better for us by way of their superior intellect. These institutions are but tools for a common end.
I’m not dismissing the WEF as the master puppeteer, for the group is the organizing force but there are reportedly forces behind the creation of the WEF that, in turn, expands the boundaries of who “they” are. What job has Klaus Schwab ever held that gave him the experience one would need to manage large scale operations? None. The sycophants that surround him are mostly academics and bureaucratic monsters. None understand the workings of economics; none understand the incentive factor governing human society.
We can also look at generational wealth from the builders and grifters that bequeathed their treasure to family and organizations that believe in superiority over us ants—du Pont, Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan, Rothschild, and so many more. The captains of industry and robber barons obviously understood economics. Most came from modest means to create vast wealth and power so they truly understood economics and incentives but their wealth was created during the height of Darwinism. They supported eugenics in some form or another—thus Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood—and believed that their Shangri-La would be found in a paradise without the abomination of useless eaters. Their heirs’ feet never touch the ground and retain their forbearers’ values. They all share a common interest: domination of the weak. That is what drives the generational wealth.
Within each of the Western nations sits a blob (the Deep State, or the Swamp). As governments continue to merge with the interests of multinational corporations and, in turn, with the all-powerful NGOs such as the WEF, the Open Societies Foundations, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the blobs know where the power now resides and are fully cooperative with these worldly ambitions.
*(As an aside, Open Societies, Soros’ blob, is probably the scariest because of the direct action taken within the world’s governments and economies. Only looking at his efforts in the U.S., Soros launched the Secretaries of State project where he bought the elections for these offices. These Secretaries, in most states, control the elections within their states. Next, he went after the District Attorneys that create havoc through dysfunctional justice systems. And now, with the realization that the Hispanic vote is shifting Republican, he’s busy buying up Spanish language radio stations throughout the U.S. Each of these moves serve a specific purpose in specific areas to affect the desired control: elections, redistributive justice, and propaganda to retain constituents. Ask Hungry how much they like their native crinkled prune.)
Power and wealth go hand-in-hand but are all wealthy people powerful? Are all powerful wealthy? Do they all want to rule the world? No. Do these people see themselves as evil and the hands of the devil (despite the conspiracy theories of satanic worship among the elite)? No. For some it is a game; for others it is altruism (and, quite possibly, boredom). For many more, it is salvation from the abnormalities of evolution.
It is my belief that we are in a time when wealth and power can utilize ever-increasingly corrupt institutions made more so by technology and the new “speed” of the world to make their desires come true.
Within each of the developed nations sits a bureaucracy whose size and influence are only eclipsed by their desire for more power. In the U.S., they are giant blobs of perpetual growth, uncontrollable by their political masters, fed by ever increasing patronage from their congressional champions. Congressmen may think they control the government but they’re too busy counting their treasure coming in through campaign donations and their ever-bulging stock portfolios to realize that they, in fact, do not.
“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” he (Chuck Schumer) said. “So, even for a practical supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s (Trump) being really dumb to do this.”
And so, no (with the exception of true believes), they don’t hate our country; it just has to be changed to their liking. They don’t recognize the Constitution. It is a hindrance to their agenda.
“(The Constitution is) ‘a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can't do to you. Says what the federal government can't do to you but doesn't say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf.’ He (Obama) believes—and he's right—that changing this is the way to bring about ‘redistributive change.’”
I think, Mr. Obama, that is the point: Our nation is established upon the fact that government, in any form, is a necessary evil to ensure a stable environment for those wishing to practice God-given, natural rights for individual freedom. It is what makes us an exceptional nation.
Religion
Mjk broached the subject of religion and I do not believe I can add much to what was asked and so, at the end of this massive discourse, I have reprinted the reader’s very well-reasoned discussion.
But let’s not forget what Marx said in Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Right:
Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.
Oft paraphrased as religion is the opioid to the masses.
And this is the last factor in why they do what they do. They believe this is all there is. You’re born, you live, you die. There is no afterlife. It is why transhumanism (the FAQs at the bottom of the linked page tell you all you need to know) is gaining traction within the circles of the powerful, especially with the astronomical pace of technological progress; and it is an outgrowth of eugenics.
You can’t take it with you but if you never leave, you never have to give it up.
I’ve mentioned many times in pervious writings that they want to live forever. It is why they support research into uploading their minds into computers and, someday, being able to download into a totally mechanized “human”.
The world would be a better place if they all decided to upload their minds as soon as possible for the mind does not make the man. How can knowledge be transported into a machine when the soul controls the mind?
There is no sense of integrity. They may believe they are doing what is best for the people but they have no love and thus no compassion. They do not see us as equals. We are but scurrying little creatures with small minds, small ambitions, and the destroyers of paradise. And they believe there are too many of us.
Many of us see our existence as a test of our character; others see life as a quest to find its meaning; and still others believe that only God has the answers to our questions.
Some of us suffer throughout life, never finding our footing, always wanting answers but never finding them. Unfortunately, many die in this condition. I think that maybe these are the people who bury their heads in the sand and accept whatever may come without the realization of something more. If they were to turn their life over to a higher power, or even the concept of such, they would begin to understand the marvels that this life has to offer. They would embrace freedom. They would reject the coming masters.
And so, we return to Hoffer:
“Faith in a holy cause is to a considerable extent a substitute for the loss of faith in ourselves.”
Anti-religious
By mjk
You know, common to all dictators, is the need to eradicate religion, specifically the Judeo-Christian religions, the cornerstone of which is the Decalogue.
There are three parts to the Decalogue:
Relation to God, Relation to Others, Relation to Self.
There are four statements in the second part:
Not to kill, Not to commit adultery, Not to steal, Not to defame your neighbor.
The true message of each of these is their converse.
Not to kill means each person has a right to his life;
Not to commit adultery is based on the fact that marriage is a contract, the prototype of all contracts and all arrangements between humans beyond the family. (The converse is that private arrangements are to be respected; they are not to be intruded upon, and not to be violated.)
Not to steal means that each person has the right to accumulate property to the extent of his ability and with the concomitant recognition that he is to do so without violating the rights of others. No one and no state have the right to take that property away.
When the people of Israel asked for a king, Samuel pointed out the danger of a king doing just that. And the story of Jezebel shows that he wasn’t fantasizing about the potential danger.
And finally, one’s right to his good name. Labeling people as belonging to certain denigrated categories is a distinct violation of this standard. To destroy one’s name is to destroy his means of livelihood and potentially to deny him the freedom to live his life to the fullest.
In my opinion the anti-Semitic and anti-religious postures of so many dictators stem from their desire to eliminate all traces of this standard of human interactions from their worlds.
They don’t want to be held accountable to such a standard and they don’t want anyone to be aware that such a standard exists lest knowledge of such might lead to a protest against their own total amorality.
Thank you, mjk! It took a while but hopefully this is what you were hoping for.
