Biological evolution takes place over generations. But imagine if it could be expedited beyond the incremental change envisaged by Darwin to a matter of individual experience. Such things are dreamt of by so-called “transhumanists”. Transhumanism has come to connote different things to different people, from a belief system to a cultural movement, a field of study to a technological fantasy. You can’t get a degree in transhumanism, but you can subscribe to it, invest in it, research its actors, and act on its tenets.
It struck me, as I read a particular article, that global fascism and its adherers believe there is nothing more to their universe than what you see; there is no God or Heaven nor free will; there are only extremely small particles that create matter that then become the building blocks to chemistry and then life as we know it.
Of course, in my mind, I ask the questions: How are the particles created? Are they comprised of even smaller particles that are comprised of even smaller particles, limitlessly evolving? And what of our physical world? Does the universe in which we exist serve as a building block for some sort of matter that then comprises more matter further up the chain? If so, what started this infinite process?
At this point, you enter into the realm of quantum physics and that’s a bit too cerebral for this brief discussion.
The global fascist movement has, at its very center, the worldview that the elites are the apogee of evolution. They are the übergods and believe the material world is for them to exploit as they see fit. They see themselves transformed into a godhead for the irrelevant masses in order to secure their cooperation. They use Climate Change! as their religion and Net Zero! as their actionable orthodoxy. They will lead us to the promised land.
Neurobiologist Robert Sapolsky does not believe that we possess free will. Mr. Sapolsky, after studying humans and primates for over 40 years, believes that every action, reaction, so on and so forth, is controlled by neurochemical and other nature-induced automated influences and not by choice. He has studied the involuntary actions of our bodies—breathing, heartbeat, cell reproduction, etcetera—as well as behaviors that are passed down through millennia by familial and other external interactions. His collected data and his learned interpretation leads him to dismiss the concept of free will.
"The world is really screwed up and made much, much more unfair by the fact that we reward people and punish people for things they have no control over," Sapolsky said. "We've got no free will. Stop attributing stuff to us that isn't there…"as quoted in the Phys.org article. Hamas, in Sapolsky’s world, really didn’t have a choice of action in their barbarism so they shouldn’t be punished.
His belief, shared by the übergods, is foundational in the quest for immortality for they believe—or, more than likely fear—there is no soul.
The central premise of transhumanism, then, is that biological evolution will eventually be overtaken by advances in genetic, wearable and implantable technologies that artificially expedite the evolutionary process.

Transhumanism goes further by suggesting that it’s all binary; existence can be winnowed to 1 or 0. With binary code, existence becomes a math problem to solve the complexities of uploading a human’s consciousness to a computer (or so they believe). That is the ultimate goal of immortality for the transhumanist: a computerized brain inserted into the ultimate mechanical body that does not succumb to disease and will never die (until, at least, the electricity is turned off).
Those of us who have a religious faith accept that there is a hereafter. In Genesis it is proclaimed that God created us in His image. As a child, I imagined a wise old man sitting upon a throne, making proclamations from on high about how we should live and what pleases Him in His eyes. As I’ve aged and gained experiences, I realize that God’s image isn’t in human form but spiritual; the sacrifice of Jesus confirms this fact. We die and our souls go home.
No, judgement from a throne on high is reserved for the übergods.
I am not a religious scholar and so I cannot even begin to delve into other monotheistic religions, let alone the one in which I believe, but the basic tenets of existence within these religions are similar.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as is perfection. Regardless of faults, if there is one single person and none other, then perfection is achieved. If there is but one more point of view then perfection is impossible—no one can ever completely agree with another’s view of perfection. It could be something as simple as I prefer natural vanilla bean ice cream and since there is no other living soul but me, I have found ice cream nirvana. If there are two souls and one prefers chocolate chip ice cream, a thousand-year war may be launched to determine which ice cream is perfect.
In the transhumanist belief, the fewest humans on earth brings us closer to perfection.
My personal belief is that we live in a state of destiny—or fate—while also occupying an existence of free will. Collectively, we are an organism and the sum of our parts dictate the movement of society and because we are but one in billions, we cannot change the course by ourselves, thus an illusion of destiny controlling our lives. We control nothing other than our actions and reactions.
I cannot control your preference for chocolate chip ice cream no more than you can control my strong urge to consume massive quantities of natural vanilla bean ice cream in one sitting. I can, however, stop eating ice cream at my discretion.
Because we lack that control over another but retain it for ourselves is the essence of free will.
We can choose to come together to positively change the world or we can decide to slaughter a thousand or so women and children in barbaric savagery. It is our choice, regardless the thousands of years of hatred built up inside, and we live with the consequences of that choice. Sapolsky believes that you don’t have that choice and so there should be no consequences.
The belief that human bodies can be melded to human manufactured technology rest in the conviction that there is nothing greater than us and that free will does not exist. It is the height of narcissism: we have won the evolutionary race to the top and now it is us, and only us, that can dictate our own future. We are our own gods. We are frail carbon-based life forms evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to our current state where we are on the precipice of the ultimate evolution. We dictate whether or not we are saved from our own self-destruction. When we are at this transhumanist level of evolution then humans are proto-perfect and ready to begin assimilation at the dictates of the global fascists.
Of course there can be a discussion about whether these übergods are experimenting on us with manufactured diseases and bizarre concoctions shot into our veins in order to further their fascist transhumanist fantasies, but we’ll save it for later.
The ultimate failure of transhumanism that the WEF and others promote, will come from the fact that we are more than just our bodies and our brain, for a soul cannot be uploaded to a machine and we have the freedom of choice for whether or not we accept their premise.
I wish Godspeed to the übergods in their desire to upload their warped minds. I hope they give it a try as soon as possible.
