It’s a perpetual state of numbness. It’s what happens when the human brain is overwhelmed to the point of mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Apathy sets in and from there, the events stack one upon the other until nothing affects you anymore. Tune in, turn off, and float by, comfortably numb.
It’s like the grumpy old man sitting on his front porch raising his fist in anger as children trample his azaleas. A harsh winter is unleashed and the azaleas freeze to the roots so the old man no longer has a target for his resentment. His flowering treasures will flower no more.
And he’s quite comfortably numb.
It’s why I’ve been quiet this past month. There has been no passion. Each day seems to bring unprecedented news. Bad news is used to cover for even worse news to whoever’s point of view that news belongs. Did you know that while Hamas was reintroducing ungodly barbarism to the world, hair sniffing Pedo Joe was interviewed by special counsel concerning his illegal possession of classified documents? This might be the only place you heard it—and I’m not a breaking news kind of guy.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not withering away in a basement bunker of dispair. I’ve actually been in a tremendous mood because I have become comfortably numb. How do we fix what is so obviously broken? Well, we can’t. With that realization, worries become like raindrops off an umbrella.
The fate of our nation lies behind closed doors. Open one and the oil depots run dry. Open another and the military arms cupboard is bare. Open yet one more and trillions of worthless paper blow away into thin air. The State of the State is empty. The full faith and credit of the United States is no more. It’s not just Pedo Joe but all of our hollowed-out politicians who line up to slurp the gruel, poured into their troughs by corrupt lobbyists and special interest elites, their hunger never satiated. Keep your hands in your pockets if you know what’s best, lest they be gnawed to the bone.
About twenty-six percent of Americans see violence and the end of democracy as the way forward, a sizable and near-equal amount of both political sides agree. We’re all flying blind and we’ve all been told boundless lies and so, maybe like Slim Pickens, bucking that bomb down to oblivion would be the easiest way, for some, to become comfortably numb. When the going gets tough, as I always say, rustle up a nuke.
There is an old world to which an old order is clinging and they will not go quietly into the night; they will incarcerate and incapacitate; they will scream and shake their fists and slander anyone who dare defy them. This is the elitist cadre that comprises all that benefited from the backroom deals and the power from which that flows. They are, as I’ve pointed out in the past, Soul Suckers.
They will use any means at their disposal, including the rabble-rousing useful idiots on the left, those pasty-white trust fund babies that scream out a new slogan at a drop of the hat: I can’t breathe to be replaced by from the river to the sea. They once dressed all in black but now they dress like Yasser Arafat, a costume, no doubt, found in the back corner of the nearest Target, next to the tuck-it bikinis for trans friendly guys.
These morons are used no differently than how the Weather Underground’s pasty-white provocateurs used the civil rights movement to attempt an insurrection. Progressivism marches forth in fits and starts, always blaming others for their transgressive thoughts.
“You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price,” Chuck Schumer ironically cried out. Yes, he and his compadres have done just that. Schumer the Schmuck unleashed his whirlwind and protestors stormed conservative Supreme Court justices’ homes—as fire glimmered in the Schmuck’s scrunched up eyes—and yet when protestors went to his home to demand an immediate cease-fire in Israel, the Schmuck had them arrested. Useful idiots are useful until they aren’t.
Hypocrisy and stupidity know no bounds. Corruption and anarchy reign supreme and yet have things really changed that much?
No, this is nothing new. It’s just the apex of wanton wickedness and vile behavior from children of lesser gods, those thoughtless fools who believe they are transcendent of human defects.
They have exposed themselves, they have untucked-it, the Democrats and Republicans, elitists and entitled, and they will reap their own whirlwind. It is unfortunate that those of us who desperately oppose them will be blown off our course but on the other side of the storm, I think, we’ll be sailing just fine.
Internationalists, globalist, fascist one and all, swirl around in cyclonic fashion guiding us to their utopia of fire and hell.
Corruption of our once proud institutions is rampant as, for example, Trump’s judge in New York mugs for the camera and self-admittedly overturns jury verdicts because he believes jurists to be ignorant. Honor and dignity have been deposed and has been found lacking in their vacated eyes. So much for a trial by your peers.
Congress? Enough said. The executive branch? Hah!
How about all of these wonderful institutions of higher education? Turning out little Pol Pots as easily as handing out candy.
I could continue ad nauseam but it’s so exhausting!
These people, they don’t create, they destroy.
Is there anybody out there? Is there anyone left to trust?
Nope.
So, it’s best to find a nice spot by the window, prerequisite fire crackling in the background, and sip your favorite hot beverage and watch the rain clatter down; for you can’t fight the clouds, after all.
And you quietly become comfortably numb.
